Call for Proposals for Organizations willing to host Foreign Entrepreneurs
The Innovation Authority and the Ministry of the Economy and Industry hereby announce the launch of a new Incentive Program – Innovation Visas for foreign entrepreneurs
The purpose of the innovation visa is to enable foreign entrepreneurs to develop their innovative technology project as an Israeli company, and receive a work permit visa.
As part of the Innovation Visas program entrepreneurs will be able to stay in Israel for a period of up to 24 months. During their stay they can receive support by the Tnufa Program to help develop their innovative idea. Further, if the project turns into a company, a foreign entrepreneur can file a request to receive support from the Innovation Authority and after receiving approval, can receive an expert visa to work in the company for a period of up to 5 years.
The innovation visa will enable foreign entrepreneurs from around the world to develop their innovative technological project in Israel. During their first steps in Israel, the foreign entrepreneur will be hosted within a Landing Pad which will offer exposure to Israel’s Eco-System, work spaces, technological infrastructure, as well as business and logistical support.
As part of a call for proposals, 12 Landing Pads will be selected from the first 15 proposals.
Organization willing to apply in order to receive recognition as a Landing Pad is invited to submit its proposal beginning Sunday, February 26th, 2017, 12:00AM until, Sunday, March 26th, 2017, 12:00AM.
